Inspection reports

7th July 2011

The purpose of this inspection was to look at how the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service has shaped their policy and guidance in relation to knife crime. We examined cases with a view to identifying and highlighting good practice as well as for compliance and possible policy/practice gaps and, where appropriate, making recommendations for improvement.
